Would Halt Monopolies
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 29. The Government would consider legislation if newspapers in New Zealand developed monopolistic tendencies, the Minister of Justice (Mr Hanan) said in Parliament tonight during the committee stages of the News Media Ownership Bill.
