MORMON LEADER ON TOUR

Christchurch Visit On Friday The holder of the second highest office in the Mormon Church, Mr H. B. Brown, will visit Christch -ch on Friday. He will be accompanied by Mr T. S. Monson, an elder of the council of the 12 apostles of the church.

Mr Brown, who is making a tour of Mormon missions in New Zealand, is first counsellor to Mr D. O. McKay, president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In Christchurch Mr Brown will speak at a public meeting in the Mormon Chapel on Friday night. Mr Monson’s duties in the council of the 12 apostles include presiding over the nine missions run by the church in the South Pacific.
