THREE-DAY RACE
Levin Cyclist Wins CN.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. B. Preston (Levin) won the Feilding Amateur Road Cycling Club's three-day handicap premier today with a time of 7hr 4min 38sec for the fivestage tour. Second was R. Takinson (New Plymouth) with a time of 7hr 4min 47sec, and third was the Auckland competitor P. Grace, who covered the 232 miles in 7hr smin 4Ssec.
The tour began on Saturday and ended today with a race over 60 miles. The “king of the mountains” title went to L. Byers, of Auckland.
