WEIGHT

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 17. Squash is the perfect answer to housewives’ weight problems, according to the world’s leading woman squash player, Miss Heather Blundell, of Australia. Miss Blundell, British champion for the last four years, the equivalent of the world championships, is in New Zealand to play exhibition matches. Her advice for women interested in squash as a non-com-petitive sport: “Squash provides all the facilities for losing weight. It’s so simple—especially for housewives without much time to spare. “You just have to spend an hour a week and its all over with. I took up squash to keep fit. Then suddenly I was playing the game seriously.”
