Fox Chat, a dual acceptor at the Geraldine Racing Club's meeting, will start in the Arundel Intermediate Handicap for apprentice riders, in preference to the Stewards’ Handicap. She will be ridden by A. K. Robinson.
St. Jude has ricked a joint and will miss the Temuka Maiden Stakes. His stablemate. Mighty Peak, is an unlikely runner in the Gladstone Improvers’ Handicap because of a wide barrier draw.
