Profit Rises To £95,700 (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 14. Motor Traders (N.Z.), Auckland, increased net profit by about £15,800, or nearly 20 per cent to £95,700 in the year to July 31 and will maintain its dividend at 11 per cent on ordinary capital increased by last year’s one-for-six bonus issue.

Earning rate on the higher capital is 24.4 per cent, compared with 24.2 per cent last year.

The profit figure, announced in a preliminary statement today, is subject to audit. The company has made four bonus issues since 1955, and has in each case maintained the dividend on the higher capital. Dividend this year will take £6944 more at £41,765 in addition to the £3OOO preference dividend.

It represents 12.8 per cent on capital before the bonus issue.

Ordinary capital was Increased by £63,134 to £379,688 during the year.
