NEW GOVT. IN NORWAY
Programme Announced (N.Z P.A -Reuter—Copyright) OSLO, October 11. Norway's first non-Socialist Government for 30 years has announced a programme for more spending on education, housing and science coupled with economies in defence. Opening the newly elected parliament. King Olav said that Norway would continue its political and military cooperation with the Western countries through N.A.T.O. At the same time it would work for "increased contact between Eastern and Western European States as part of efforts aimed at continued relaxation of tension.”
