Training In N.Z.
A British Indian girl from Fiji, Miss Prema Becha, aged 22, who is now training in New Zealand as a beauty consultant, will soon be helping to promote a New Zealand company’s exports of cosmetics. Miss Becha is undergoing an intensive training course in Wellington. Her trip to New Zealand has been sponsored so she can be fully informed on the latest methods of skin care, make-up and hair care.
When she returns to Suva she will advise clients in her father’s pharmacy and hold public demonstrations in the use of beauty preparations. Miss Becha is accompanied by her father, Mr H. S.
