NEW NAME WANTED

<N.Z. Press Association— Copyright)

AUCKLAND, Sept. 21. The secretary of the Real Estate and Stock Institute of Australia (Mr F. J. Foy) said in Auckland today that the name “Australasia” for Australia and New Zealand should be changed. Mr Foy is one of a delegation of 50 Australian estate agents visiting Auckland for the conven-

tion of the ,Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. “The name ‘Australasia’ leans too much towards Australia,” he said. “We want a new name, particularly after the new limited free trade agreement, which sounds more like a partnership and not a take-over. “New countries are continually coining new names—why can’t we find a new one?”
