SATELLITE ‘QUINS’
Russian Space Launching (N.Z P A.-Reuter —Copyright> MOSCOW, Sept. 19. Russia sent five space satellites into orbit today from a single rocket. The cluster of Cosmos sputniks brought to 13 the total of artificial satellies put into orbit by the Soviet Union in the last five weeks. A similar five-sputnik set was launched two weeks ago, and another five went up in July.
The satellite “quintuplets” launched today were Nos. 86, 87, 88, 89 and 90 in the cosmos series, which started in 1962.
