ANNUAL F.E.I. JUMPING
High Standard Seen At Kaiapoi
There was a very high stand ard of jumping at the fifth annual F.E.I. jumping show, conducted by the Kaiapoi Pony Club on Saturday, on the property of Mr and Mrs P. Moore, kaiapoi. There were 383 entries, received from as far away as Marlborough. Weather and conditions were perfect and the course* were welil planned. Results were:—
Maiden Hack (Tom Ayers Shield).—Denis Youngman's Intrigue 1, Mrs R. R. Bain's Prospero 2, Elizabeth Petrie’s Hat Trick 3.
Maiden Pony (Wylie Challenge Cup).—Linda Pearce’s Mountain Laddie 1, Anna Gould's Spinney 2, Vicki-Margaret WiMta’s Melody Maid 3. Champion Hack (Morwenstow Challenge Cup).—Mrs J. S. Heard’s Cent 1, Miss A. Kelley's Imperial Blue 2, Cushla Bennett’s Gay Monarch 3.
