Maori Club’s Successes

(Special Crspdt. N 7. P A.) LONDON Sept. 15 The Wellington Anglican i Maori Club scored “fantastic successes” during its 14-week tour of North America, the Rev. Kingi lhaka said in London. The party of 15 is in London for four days. It performed at New Zealand House last night and today will appear in Trafalgar square in connexion with the Commonwealth Arts Festival. Mr lhaka said the tour was “fantastic” and people everywhere were very hospitable. The group played in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York. “Although we have Anglican in our name we are not saints,” said Mr lhaka. “In fact we played in nightclubs in some places.”
