Gold Boots At Templeton
Gold Boots remained with D. G. Nyhan at Templeton after racing at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s national meeting on August 28.
Gold Boots showed outstanding form towards the end of last season, but he had difficulty adjusting himself to the bends at Addington. He mixed his gait in both of his races, but did much better at his second attempt when he finished fifth. More experience on small tracks should soon result in Gold Boots living up to the high opinion formed of him last season.
