Sukarno’s Order
(N.Z. P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BOGOR (West Java), September 6. President Sukarno yesterday ordered his economic experts to curb inflation in Indonesia within one year. The Indonesian leader was speaking at a ceremony at which he installed a body called “Self-Reliance Command (Kotari)” at his summer palace in Bogor, 40 miles south of Djakarta. The chief-of-staff of the command is the Trade Minister, Brigadier-General Jusuf.
President Sukarno told the new body to work hard so that after a year inflation would no longer exist.
