Two Houses Sold
An older-type of weatherboard house in need of renovation on a section of 32 perches at 117 Sullivan avenue, Opawa, was sold for £1375 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. The house comprised a liv-ing-room, hall, three bedrooms. kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The Government valuation is £1650.
A four-roomed cottage on a section of 20 perches at 402 Gloucester street was sold for £1250. The property was offered on account of the estate of Arthur Woolley by Mr Ray Simes. The Government valuation is £l2OO.
