Outlook For Wool Good

The Australian Wool Board yesterday predicted that world consumers would be more willing to buy wool in preference to other materials. It said the increased consumption would break the influence of declining synthetic fibre prices. World prospects for wool showed “cause for optimism,” in spite of the huge new investment in artificial fibre production, research and promotion, said the board in its 1964455 report tabled in the Federal Parliament.
