Slight Easing In NdL, Lamb (N.Z. Preu Association) WELLINGTON, Sept 3. Post bank holiday trade on Smithfield market London, this week has been brisk for most commodities, according to the market information service of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. There was a good inquiry for New Zealand lamb with slight easing in prices. Quotations for the main grade (29-361 b were id per lb down on last week. New Zealand mutton sold slowly at nominal prices. The main grade of wethers (49561 b) sold at 17d to 18d per lb and ewes at lid to Hid per lb. New Zealand g.a.q. ox hinds sold at 33d to 34d per lb and fores 22d to 23d per lb.
