Membership Drive
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON,. Sept. 3. The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association is to launch a Dominion-wide membership drive on Monday. It will last one week. “This is a concerted effort by tennis associations throughout the country to enlist new members,” the public relations officer of the New Zealand association, Mr J. D. Vickerman, said today. The idea for the campaign is modelled on a drive by the Canterbury association last year which resulted in an increase of 977 members.
