Puzzled ’Bok
Dr. Danie Craven said today that he had never heard such pessimism about a Springbok team, as he had here in Christchurch on the eve of the third test. “I will be very interested to see the match,” he said. “I cannot believe that a South African team is as weak as I have been told this one is.” Dr. Craven shook his head in disbelief as he read local newspaper headlines forecasting victory for the All Blacks. “I never thought this would happen,” he said.
