Canterbury deservedly won the ifinal of the southern zone colts ' hockey tournament in Wellingi ton today, with a narrow, but convincing 3-2 win over Southern J minors. ; For Canterbury, M. Bennett, C. Hill and G. Marshall scored, and D. Honey twice for Southlern. | The results of games in the I morning were:—Southern Minors 3, Otago 1; Canterbury 6. Wellington 0.

After the tournament, teams were selected to play Wellington and Northern zone. They were: v. Wellington,—S. Cranfield, C ineson, G. Marshall, M. Bennett (captain), B Maister, D. Warren, L. Hutchison (Canterbury): M Dey, G. Turner (Otago); D. Honey, T. Bennett (Southern Minors). Reserves: R. Kendrick (Wellington), R. McCormack (Otago), R. Maxwell (Southern Minors), B.
