“HAT-TRICK” AT EPSOM

Hutchinson’s Good Day (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON. The Australian jockey, R. Hutchinson, scored a hat-trick at Epsom on Tuesday. He was the only one of four Australians riding at Epsom on Tuesday to be successful. Hutchinson’s winners came on Miss Taft in the Chessington Selling Handicap, in the Woodmansterne Handicap on Noirmont Boy, and on Haunting Melody, in the Heathcote Nursery. He was unplaced in his two other races. None of the other Australian jockeys—R. Maddock, ty. Williamson or E. Cracknell—could manage a place.
