Beatles Meet Presley (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LOS ANGELES, August 30. The Beatles have met Elvis Presley in what the Liverpool quartet’s press managers called a “summit conference” of the pop music world. Presley invited the Beatles to his suburban Belaire home and the five singers remained together through the early morning hours of the next day. “We hit it off immediately,” said Ringo Starr. “It was a great session.”
