AUCKLAND, August 29. The Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre) said in Auckland yesterday afternoon that the servicemen’s revision of pav and conditions of service would be announced in about three weeks. Interviewed while visiting the combined services sports competitions at the Devonport naval base, the Minister said the review had been completed and would be presented to the Cabinet within the next two or three weeks. The revised pay and conditions of service should encourage more enlistments, particularly In the Army, he said.
