Schoolboys Win, Lose

"The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND, Aug. 29. The Canterbury under-eight Rugby League team had a win and a loss in its two matches in Auckland at the week-end. On Saturday Mt. Albert beat Canterbury, 6-3, and today Canterbury defeated the unbeaten Ellerslie team, 3-0. On each occasion Canterbury’s sole try was scored by the forward, K. Bond, a son of the former Kiwi, J. E. Bond.

The Canterbury team—the youngest sports team ever to fly to Auckland—will return home this afternoon.
