Mr J. C. M. Yock, aged 26, has gained his Ph.D. in nuclear physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was educated at King's CoLege and Auckland University, where he gained his M.Sc. with first-class honours in physics. In 1962, he won a university research scholarship. a Duffus Lubecki Research Scholarship and a Fulbright award. Dr.,Yock has accepted a position" as instructor in physics at the institute.— (PA.).
Mr G. S. Long has been appointed to the Hamner Rabbit Board, replacing Mr W. L. Orange, who has died.
