‘NEUER AGAIN'

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 29. A widow, Mrs Jean Stafford, of 23 Peacock street, Glendowie, said tonight that she could never live again in her home, which is precariously near a cliff top after a bad slip. “It was all 1 had,” said Mrs Stafford, who has a school-age son and daughter to support.

“But there is no access at all now and I would never feel safe sleeping there.”

“We went down this morning hoping to get some more possessions out,” she said, “but we were told it was too unsafe.”
