Taranaki, will tomorrow meet a challenger, Southland, which has. an almost identical recent record and a similar plan of Play. In the fourteenth challenge of the 1958-59 Taranaki shield era Southland took the trophy Both teams play sound tactical Rugby based on hard forward drive and a pair of inside backs who can control the Play : Both teams recently beat Wellington, one of the country’s toughest sides, and both have some fine recent wins.
