PERMIT FOR FACTORY

Urlwin’s To Ruild Soon The Building Programmer had issued a permit to Urlwin Industries, Ltd, for the building of its model £lOO,OOO factory and offices in Waltham road, said the firm’s chairman of directors (Mr J. Urlwin). The plans for the new factory had now been sent out to tender, he said, and tenders would close in a fortnight. Mr Urlwin said he expected building to begin within a month. “It is very pleasing to be able to proceed with the first stage,” he said. “We are looking forward to getting our full complement of 200 workers back. “Soon we will be able to put our company’s productivity back into Canterbury.”

The company, said Mr Urlwin, had had its share of headaches, but they were being quickly dispersed.
