Week Between Calves
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, August 24. Twin calves are not uncommon, but It is not often that they arrive a week apart. This happened on the farm of Mr J. Herbert, of Omanunu, near Kaeo. A seven-year-old Jersey cow gave birth to a calf on August 13. After a few days the cow’s milk yield fell off and when Mr Herbert went tn get the herd for the afternoon milking on Friday he was astonished to find the cow with another normal new-born
