Court At Bedside

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. August 22. A special court hearing will probably be held in Rotorua Hospital tomorrow. It will be at the bedside of a young patient, admitted this morning after allegedly attempting to escape from the Rotorua police station. The youth was arrested on a burglary charge late on Saturday and brought into the station. The police say he made a break about 1 a.m. He leapt over a counter separating the police office from the public entrance, sprinted down a corridor and ran straight into the back door of the station. The impact smashed two glass panels and the youth was badly gashed about one wrist and the face.
