Minor Fires
A passer-by last evening noticed a fire in the case premises of Radley Bros. Supply Company, Ltd., 174 Lichfield street. Firemen from the Headquarters station put out the rubbish fire before it caused damage to property. Mr H. E. Radley, principal of the firm, said he wished to thank the passer-by, who had telephoned him about the fire. The alarm was given at 7.22 p.m. Slight damage was done to the wall of an empty house at 23 Faraday street, at 12.39 p.m. St. Albans firemen attended. An oven fire in the home of Mr T. Johnston, 100 Chapter street, caused no damage at 11.56 a.m. St Albans firemen attended.
