LAND BEST AS ASSET
"An increasing demand for 'land and all that is included iin the term indicates basic ; confidence in our commodity as an investment." says the president (Mr H. V. Cassidy) lin his annual report, to be presented to the conference of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand in Christchurch today.
“Land has stood the test of change better than any other form of property,” he says. “It caimot vanish overnight and has the advantage of being tangible, unlike the share certificate which, after ail, is merely a token or paper interest in the fortunes or misfortunes of an industrial or commercial undertaking. “More and more insti.ujtional bodies having largo funds to invest are turning to real estate today for safety and appreciation.”
