BETTING DOWN
On and off-course investments on the three-day Grand National meeting this year were £830,691 ss. They dropped £123,964 on the total for last year.
On-course investments this year were down by £2BoB—from £336,424 to £333,616. Off-course investments at £497,075 5s were £121,156 below last year, when the third day of the meeting was postponed from a Saturday to a Monday.
Attendance and betting figures were affected on Saturday by wet weather.
