The lapses on the eighteenth by Aaron and Marr, however came as something of an ann climax after Arnold Palmer vix tually eliminated himself from all contention with his third round over par. Aaron and Marr, on 209. were a stroke ahead of Gardner Dickinson and two strokes up on Jack Nicklaus and Bilh Casper.
Bruce Devlin shot a one over 72 for 215 to lead the Australlsu competitors. Kel Nagle. 74, 75 71—226. was one ahead of Bruce Crampton. 77. 74. 70—221. 8 J. Charles, of New Zealand, trailed with 75. 75. 73—223.
