Cadet Forces Medal Presented

Lieutenant-Commander A. i P. Gurnsey, who is in charge , of the Sea Cadet unit at Christ’s College, was yesterday presented with the Cadet Forces Medal for long service to the Sea Cadet Corps. Lieutenant - Commander Gurnsey has been in charge of the sea cadet corps at Christ’s College since its inception in 1952. He is a member of the teaching staff. The medal was presented by Commander R. F. Sanderson, commanding officer of H.M.N.Z.S. Pegasus, in the presence of the headmaster and staff of Christ’s College.
