Mann May Yet Go On Kiwi Tour

GREYMOUTH, August 11. D. F. Mann, of Runanga, who was selected as a fullback in the Kiwi Rugby League team to tour England and France but who had to withdraw because of injury, will receive his New Zealand blazer and will be entitled to wear it.
This decision was made by the New Zealand Rugby League Council. His picture will be inset in the official photograph of the team taken just before its departure. Mann may yet join the team. An offer of help has been
received by the West Coast Rugby League from a Reef-! ton supporter. The news of this was con-i veyed to Mann, who is in the! Burwood Hospital, but is un- 1 decided whether to accept assistance. He feels that ati 22 he is still young enough to gain selection for the next tour.
Meantime, the West Coast league has been advised by the parent body that it would have no objection to Mann joining the touring party. The estimated cost of his trip is about £BOO.
