MELBOURNE
Industrials over-all were steady with falls shading rises on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday. Philip Morris highlighted with a sale 3s higher at 60s, while other leaders tended to ease. Base metals were barely steady but Associated Minerals, a subsidiary of the Consolidated Goldfields group, gained 2s to 43s 6d following a sharp increase in profits. Oils were steady.
