HAMILTON, August 9. A school of education is planned by the Waikato University and Hamilton Teachers’ College. A four-year degree and three-year diploma course for students wishing to enter the teaching profession is planned for the school. It is hoped to open the school in February. Approval for the course must be obtained from the University Grants Committee and the Department of Education and sufficient funds must be made available for it.
