The eight principals in New Zealand and the vice-princi-pals from Hamilton and Dunedin ar“ attending a special course at Lopdell House. Titirangi. under the chief inspector of primary schools. Mr B. M. Pinder, of Welling ton.
Mr Pinder said the course was the sequel to a course last April at which senior col lege staff studied the nature, form and hape of the threeyear course.
Since then the National Ad visory Council on Teacher Training had produced its second report and the Government had announced its decision to introduce the course.
At least a dozen short courses for heads of departments had been held and the ideas taken back to the individual colleges for assimilation.
