Manufacturers To Visit N.2,. (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, August 2. Australian manufacturers will send a delegation to New Zealand in September to discuss trade subjects. The delegation, which is going at the invitation of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Association, will have formal talks in Wellington on September 6 and 7 and will then visit other centres. The leader will be the federal president of the Associated Chambers of Manufacturers, Mr H. G. Ferrier. Announcing the visit today the federal director of the chambers, Mr R. W. C. Anderson, said: “Australian manufacturers recognised that their New Zealand counterparts have a right to insist that areas of manufacturing industry in New Zealand which are still developing should continue to receive adequate protection under any agreement for a

limited free trade area between Australia and New Zealand.”
