N.Z. Lamb Still Steady ,(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 30. There was quiet trading at steady prices for ail commodities on London’s Smithfield market this week, according to the Meat Board market information service. Pitchings of New Zealand lamb were maintained at a steady level. Quotations for the main grade (29/361b) increased by one farthing per lb. There was little trading in New Zealand mutton at unchanged nominal prices. The main grade of wethers (49-561 b sold at 17d to 18d per lb, and ewes at 12d per lb. New Zealand beef was not quoted.
