Slow Starter Won Tourney
Although down 5-1 after two ends of the final, S. Sneddon won the Arawa Threes indoor bowls tournament on Sunday, 13-9. from Mrs J. Boone. Sneddon's team was G. Taylor and Mrs H. Sneddon and the members of Mrs Boone's team were Mesdames B. Millar and E. Osborne. A total of 135 teams took pari 42 qualifying for section play. In the semi finals, Mrs Boone beat R. Fridd and Sneddon beal K Adair.
