DOMINION BREWERIES
Capacity Lift Planned (N.Z. Press As-socintion) AUCKLAND, July 27. Dominion Breweries, Ltd., would at least double its brewing capacity in the next 12 to 18 months, the manag ing director (Sir Henry Kelliher) announced at its annual meeting today. Sales in the last year had risen by Im gallons to nearly 14m gallons and the companyhad to introduce a system of rationing available supplies, he said.
The capacity of the existing Waitemata Brewery plant had been causing considerable concern iq recent years Brewing and bottling plant had deteriorated partly because of age and partly because of exceptionally high usage.
