Group Profit Up 19.2 p.c. (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 22. An improvement of £11,331, or 19.2 per cent, lifted group net profit of Cory-Wright and Salmon, Ltd., engineer and importer, to £70,058 in the year ended March 31. This was the ninth successive profit rise recorded by the company, which last year lifted earning by 9.7 per cent. Dividend has been maintained at 8 per cent which, with the 5 per cent preference payment, will require £29,640. General Reserve General reserve will receive a transfer of £30,000 against £20,000 last year. After writing back surplus tax of £l2 (£169 last year) the carry-forward was lifted from £46.942 to £57,372. During the year the company issued £61,600 in 10s convertible 6| per cent notes and also issued 20,000 ordinary £1 shares in the purchase of J. and C. Laird and Sons. Ltd..
