Youth From Australia W.Z. Trent AnnociaUon) AUCKLAND, July 19. Richard Paul Zammitt. aged IS, a workman, had obviously intended to “make a haul” in New Zealand, then return to Australia, said Mr J. R. Drummond. S.M., when Zammitt appeared before him today for sentence on 10 charges of burglary. He gaoled Zammitt for a year, and recommended that he be deported when he was released. Zammitt pleaded guilty to the charges last week, when the Court was told he had obtained goods worth £1550 from his crimes. A 17-year-old strip-tease dancer. Sheryl Ngaire Toi, who appeared for sentence on A charge of receiving clothling from Zammitt, knowing it to have been stolen, was placed on probation for two years and ordered to live and work where directed, and pay £lO restitution. She had pleaded guilty.
