Investigation In Britain (Special Crspdt. N.Z PA J LONDON, July IB Two men out of every five examined at work in a cross section of British industry suffered from rheumatic disease in the 12 months before the interview, says a report pub I'iShed this week. The report, by the Industrial Survey Unit of the Arth riitic and Rheumatism Counci' for Research, is a summary o' findings over the last fiv< years. The unit was estab lished to investigate Britain’ loss of 27 million days a yea' through rheumatic disease Nearly 4000 workers wer studied in the printing an retail trades, a collier breweries, a naval dockyard a commercial dock, electron engineering works and ir< foundries.
