Car Converter May Be Hurt

(N.Z. Press Association} AUCKLAND, July 19. Detectives believe a passenger in a stolen car which went off the main highway, 10 miles north of Rotorua early on Saturday morning mayhave suffered head injuries. The windscreen on the passenger side was broken. Today, the Rotorua police were seeking information from persons who might have seen the car and its occupants on Saturday. It is believed they hitch-hiked to Rotorua after the accident

The sports car was stolen from a Newmarket garage during Friday night. A safe in the garage was opened but nothing was stolen.
