Give It Away “No nassella, but just about everything else,” said the chairman of the Mackenzie County Council (Cr. B. J. O’Neill), reporting to the Canterbury Nassella Tussock Co-ordinating Committee in Christchurch yesterday. Licence Awaited The carriage of Bluff oysters by road to Christchurch would not commence until the necessary goods service licence was issued by the Transport Department, Mr A G Williams, general manager of C. Williams and Son, the contractors converned, said yesterday. Mr Williams said the licence could arrive “any day,” but nothing would be done until it was received. Order Of St. John The Christchurch subcentre of the St. John Ambulance Association has decided to subsidise the offerinn made at the st. John's Day service bn June 27 This is in honour of the eightieth anniversary of the founding of the Order of St. John in New Zealand. The money will be sent to the Ophthalmic Hospital in Jerusalem, which is run by the order.
