Small Fire In Barracks
A small fire in the roof of the King Edward Barracks Was put out by firemen on three appliances from the Headquarters station at 3.7 p.m. yesterday. The fire caused only slight damage. An oven fire in the home of Mrs M. J. Wattereus, 22 Voss street, at 2.29 p.m. caused no damage. St. Albans firemen attended. A fire in the switchboard of Mr R. A. Scullard’s home at 99 Wattle drive caused only slight damage. New Brighton firemen answered thealarm at 455 P- ra; A chimney fire in the home of Mr C. G.
