“The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND. July 5. Trial consignments of asparagus and frozen eels will be flown to Holland by KLM. airline. The New Tealand manager of K L M. Mr W. J. van Dongen. has returned.to Auckland from Holland with instructions to arrange the consignments. He made inquiries overseas on behalf of an Invercargill eel exporter and a market gardener in Napier If the prices were right there would be no difficulty selling eels, asparagus and strawberries in Holland, said Mr van Dongen. Australia was sti’ll managing to attract a few migrants, but in future the only Dutch people likely to come to New Zealand were those who had friends or relations there.
